Taiho Koki won 32 tournament championships and is widely regarded as the greatest sumo wrestler of all time. His dominance in the 1960s was so total that the saying "kyojin, taiho, tamagoyaki" (Giants baseball, Taiho, and fried eggs) described the three most popular things in Japan.
